Mt Lawley SHS - Year 7 Building

Mt Lawley Senior High School Year 7 Building + Music Centre accommodates WA's Year 7 transition initiative. The design features flexible open spaces with sliding doors, red face brickwork, and shaped metal roof forms.

 

Local and Aboriginal artists created a glazed brick artwork celebrating cultural partnerships. A welcoming southern forecourt provides an outdoor learning space. Sustainability features include rainwater harvesting, a 10 kW solar array, high-R-value insulation, and energy monitoring systems.
